With the spread of coronavirus (covid-19) and the measures taken by the government to control the new coronavirus pandemic, many businesses have had to close temporarily to help with public health.

Mass public gatherings have been stopped and venues have been canceling events. It has also been recommended to stop large gatherings in public places to reduce the spread of the virus. Additionally, businesses such as bars, restaurants, hair-dressers and beauty parlors such as nail salons are having to shut to reduce close contact between individuals. While this infectious disease is a problem, the new social distancing measures mean that you may not be able to continue your normal routine for the time being.

You can do your bit to support others and the health care system, by following the recommendations of the health experts by hand washing regularly, using hand sanitizer, social distancing yourself from others where possible (recommendations range from 4 to 6 feet), and if you have any symptoms then putting yourself in self-quarantine and contacting your doctor for advice is recommended. This can help reduce the spread of covid-19.

What Can You Do To Look After Your Nails At Home

Even though you and your family members may have to avoid public spaces and reduce your exposure to public transportation, effectively staying in much more at home and reducing travel to important journeys it’s important to retain as much routine as you can to help ensure that your mental health is maintained. Especially in major cities, a lot of people are not used to staying in a lot, and it can add to the stress of an already worrying situation.

The best way to keep positive during these times is to ensure that you look after your health and try to do similar things that you normally would do even if those things are carried out at home. For example, if you are used to going to a monthly trip to the nail salon you can still look after your nails at home. In fact, it can be good to give your nails a rest from nail polish and pedicures especially if they are not in the best condition. Not only can you take this time to help improve the look and strength of your nails, using the Doctors Kline + Green Clear + Restore product, if your nails are brittle and cracking you can improve their condition using Hydrate.

Putting Your Overall Health First

Even though social distancing and recent news have caused engagements to have been put on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak, it is important to prioritize your own health, well-being and that of your family. You can take this time to reflect on the positive things in your life and actively plan for when life returns back to normal. So, try to maintain your general health, boost your natural immune system by eating a good diet, and try to maintain contact with your friends and family virtually, using social media, and technology.
