Dr. Jeremy B. Green is a board-certified, fellowship-trained clinical dermatologist, currently affiliated with Jackson Health System — Miami, licensed in Florida and Hawaii. Dr. Green graduated with honors from Princeton University, and completed his medical education at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he was elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He served his residency at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, where he was elected as Chief Resident, and afterwards completed a fellowship in Laser, Surgical, and Cosmetic Dermatology in Boston, MA. Dr. Green currently works as a full-time dermatologist at the Skin Associates of South Florida, where he treats both adult and pediatric patients, working hard to provide consistently excellent care.
Coming from a long line of doctors, Dr. Green has always held an interest in medicine. Both his grandfather and great-grandfather were family doctors. His father, Dr. Barth A. Green, is a neurosurgeon, and his charity work fueled Green’s life-long support of philanthropy. Dr. Jeremy B. Green supports many charities, but is most prominently involved in the two his father co-founded: The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, and Project Medishare for Haiti. The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis conducts research on spinal cord and brain injuries, while Project Medishare for Haiti maintains a permanent presence in Haiti to provide healthcare and education for their communities. Dr. Green has gone on a number of medical missions to Haiti, and provided much-needed aid after the earthquake in 2010.
Dr. Green doesn’t just practice dermatological medicine, he actively researches and puts effort into both teaching and learning, through giving lectures internationally and attending meetings with fellow doctors to learn new ways to improve his practice. Along with that, he works as a Volunteer Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami. Green works hard and strives to continually get better, in order to provide the best possible care for his patients. Working with the Skin Research Institute, he runs clinical trials for FDA testing on dermatology procedures for biomedical, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic device companies. He is proud to be directly involved with ensuring that the medical products tested there are safe and effective.
Along with contributing to dozens of scientific publications, Dr. Green has been featured in Allure, Vogue, and other magazines, as well as appearing on CBS’s The Doctors. Along with Dr. Kline, Dr. Green is regularly featured on TV and Sirius XM radio, appearing multiple times as a guest on the show “Ask Dr. Brandt.” When he isn’t working as a full-time dermatologist, Green explores his passion for exercising, and spends quality time with his growing family.
